[Week 4 FYP1] Development of Easy Parking Finder System





Activity Title :
- First FYP Briefing.
- Scope and limitation of my project

Objective :
  • To know the detail about FYP title.
  • To determine the requirements needed in FYP.
  • To determine the scope and limitation of my project

Content :
In this week basically is about the briefing of the FYP1. The briefing was conducted in TTL 1 and the attendance of all the student that are taking FYP1 was compulsory.
The brefing was conducted by Dr Imran.

Scope and limitation for this project

The scope of this project is to ensure low traffic in a certain area. Android user can plan their travel effectively before entering shopping mall. User can reduce the difficulty and time taken to find parking lot.


The limitation of this project is the project can only make installation at certain area especially closed area and basement area. This project are not suitable for roof top or any area that open-air. Non-android user cannot use this project. The driver's attitude also play a big role as it can affect the system whether it can be implement in their daily activity or not. 






Result and Analysis:
In the briefing, the FYP commitees have briefed us about:

  • Introduction
  • Objectives
  • Credits and duration
  • Score of projects
  • Tittle selection
  • Project assessment
  • Presentation day
  • Submission date of project

I was determined the scope and limitation of my project. 

Conclusion :
The students were required to carefully select the title of the project. for degree students, the title must reflect the capability and knowledge of a degree student. Students may select the titles that are offered by lecturers (FYP supervisors) or come out with own ideas.
