[Week 6 FYP1] Development of Easy Parking Finder System

Activity Title:

- Second FYP briefing. 
- History of my project. (first idea)

Objective :

• To know how to write introduction (chapter 1) and literature review (chapter 2). 
• To get some hint to write the chapter 1 and chapter 2 correctly.
• To know the history of parking lot.

Content :

In week 6, second briefing for FYP1 will be held. The briefing was conducted in TTL 1 and the attendance of all student that are taking FYP 1 was compulsary. The briefing was conducted by Dr Jawad Ali Shah.

History:

The first public parking garage for motor vehicle was opened in Boston, United State. In 24 May 1898, some central of cities began to convert from livery stables into garages. Many citizen in these era use motor vehicle to lifts for carriages and build-up garage for their vehicle. They start build parking indoor and outdoor of private property belonging to a house. Parking at side of the road where metered or laid out for such use a parking lot or car park.

          In this century, people start build parking at underground and top roof of building. Certain area start build outdoor multi-level garages or cycle parking where controlled by machine. 

Result and Analysis:

In the briefing, the FYP committees have briefed us about:

• Introduction for chapter 1
• Literature review for chapter 2

I know how idea of parking lot come from. 

Conclusion :

I understand how to write the introduction and literature review.
